World Oral Health Day 2023

On the 20 March every year, we ask the world to unite to help reduce the burden of oral diseases, which affect individuals, health systems, and economies everywhere.

Its purpose: to empower people with the knowledge, tools and confidence to secure good oral health.

Your mouth is a mirror to your body and reflects your general health and well-being.

Avoid risk factors, adopt good oral hygiene habits, and have regular dental check-ups to help protect your mouth and body.

A healthy mouth and a healthy body go hand in hand. Maintaining a healthy mouth is crucial to functioning correctly and maintaining overall health and quality of life.

This year, we want to inspire change by focusing on the importance of oral health at every stage of life, because no matter what age you are, caring for your mouth and looking after your oral health is important.

It’s never too early or late to start looking after your mouth; your body will thank you.
